How do you choose which grants are funded?
Our Program Committee meets once a month to read through and make suggestion to present at the Board Meeting. The grant applications are approved at the monthly Board Meeting.
What type of grants won’t get approved?
Typically, we don’t provide funds for things that can only be used once or can be thrown out (consumables).
How long does it take to process a Teacher Grant?
Your Grant Application is reviewed by our Program Chair, discussed at the monthly Program Committee meeting, presented to the Board at the month Board meeting and finally approved or rejected. You should have a response of approval, rejection, or ‘further information required’ within a month from applying.
When does the Board of Directors meet?
We usually meet the first Thursday of every month.
Is my donation tax deductible? Will I receive a tax receipt?
Yes. We are a registered 501 c(3) and our tax ID number is 91-1914331.
Are you interested in corporate sponsors?
We would love to work with your company to see where we can use your donation/sponsorship best.
Can I make a donation in honor or memory of someone?
Yes! Let’s talk about how we can make this meaningful for you and the Foundation.
Does the Foundation sell, rent or trade information to other agencies?
The privacy of our donors is very important to us and we do not share or sell this information.
Can you donate to a specific program?
Definitely! Please specify, attach a note, or give us a call to let us know where you would like it channeled.
I want to donate with a credit card, but don’t like submitting the information over the Internet.
Although donating online is a fast and secure way to make a gift, there are several alternatives available. You can call us we’ll take your credit card information over the phone. Or, you can mail your check to us.
